This Scottsdale kitchen was redesigned to better complement the home’s open layout while introducing more storage, a larger working island, and a brighter combination of finishes.

The new kitchen features slim white shaker cabinetry paired with a warm wood island that brings contrast and character to the space. White countertops continue across the perimeter and oversized island, creating a bright backdrop for the two-tone cabinetry.
One of the defining details is the custom range hood, finished in white with a warm wood accent that connects visually with the island. A white subway-style backsplash extends around the kitchen and even surrounds the window for a more complete design.
Details & Finishes
Black hardware with gold accents adds definition against both cabinet finishes, while a black faucet and stainless steel appliances introduce additional contrast. The large farmhouse sink is positioned beneath the kitchen window, and the extended island provides substantial storage and workspace.
The surrounding living area continues the contrast with a dramatic black fireplace and dark exposed beams, tying the kitchen into the rest of the open space.
