Kitchen, Bathroom & Custom Cabinetry Remodel in North Phoenix, AZ
This North Phoenix remodel brought together a new kitchen, custom bathroom cabinetry and a made-to-fit closet.
The kitchen pairs shaker cabinetry with a white oak island, while white oak carries into the bathrooms for a warmer, more natural look. Much of the cabinetry was fabricated by our team in our own shop, giving us control over the dimensions and details from the start.
Project Overview
The project included a kitchen remodel, bathroom cabinetry and a custom melamine closet.
For the kitchen, we used semi-custom shaker cabinets with a contrasting white oak island. The bathroom vanities were custom built, along with cabinetry designed specifically for the closet.
Homeowner's Goals
The goal was to keep the home clean and current without making every room look exactly the same.
White oak became the common element throughout the project, while the cabinet styles and finishes were adjusted for each space.
Kitchen Design
The kitchen combines classic shaker cabinetry with a white oak island at the center.
The lighter wood adds warmth and gives the island its own identity without feeling disconnected from the surrounding cabinets.
Semi-Custom Cabinetry
Semi-custom shaker cabinets were used throughout the main kitchen.
The layout was planned around the room, appliances and storage needs, giving the kitchen a tailored look without requiring every cabinet to be fully custom.
White Oak Kitchen Island
The white oak island is one of the main features of the kitchen.
Its natural grain brings warmth into the room and creates a subtle contrast against the shaker cabinetry surrounding it.
Countertops and Backsplash
New countertops and backsplash complete the kitchen and keep the palette light around the cabinetry.
The quieter surfaces allow the white oak island and cabinet details to stand out without making the room feel busy.
Primary Bathroom Remodel
For the bathrooms, we built custom white oak cabinetry specifically for the spaces.
The natural wood gives the bathrooms warmth while keeping the cabinet lines simple and clean.
Custom White Oak Bathroom Cabinets
Unlike the semi-custom kitchen cabinetry, the bathroom cabinets were built from scratch by our team.
The dimensions, cabinet boxes and components were planned for the individual spaces and fabricated in our shop.
Custom Cabinet Fabrication
A big part of this project happened before installation ever started.
We cut and fabricated the custom cabinetry in our North Phoenix facility using our CNC equipment. Building the pieces ourselves allows us to work from the actual project dimensions rather than trying to make a standard cabinet fit a space it wasn't designed for.
Custom Melamine Closet
We also built a custom melamine closet with storage planned around the available space.
The cabinetry was made specifically for the closet, creating a more organized layout without wasting valuable wall space.
Remodeling Process
Cabinet dimensions, appliance locations, countertops and finished surfaces were planned before fabrication and installation.
For the custom pieces, the process moved from measurements and design to CNC cutting, assembly, finishing and final installation.
Finished Kitchen
The finished kitchen balances the familiar look of shaker cabinets with the natural character of white oak.
The island adds warmth at the center of the room, while the surrounding cabinetry keeps the kitchen bright and practical.
